Description
Iron Furnaces Along the Etowah River Valley
This presentation explores the ironworks and supporting infrastructure that lined the Etowah River between Cartersville and Canton during the mid-1800s. It also highlights recently uncovered evidence indicating that manufacturing resumed at Etowah Village after it was burned by Federal troops during the Civil War.
